Portia Green is the founder of She Exhorts Blog. She is a woman of faith, wife of her husband for 18 years, and mother of three amazing kids. Portia is in the business of education and has a Master of Business Administration. She is the head of school where she leads students, faculty, and staff at a local elementary school fearlessly with compassion and love. Portia has a passion for exhorting, encouraging, educating, and inspiring others. She has a passion for exhorting women in particular who are wives and mothers trying to juggle it all. She believes that women often put themselves on the “back burner” to take care of everything else around them. Through transparency and sharing her personal life experiences and mistakes, Portia’s hopes to make a positive life changing impact on women who desire to begin again. One of her favorite statements, is “We cannot take care of anyone else, if we do not take care of ourselves first”. She believes in standing on biblical truth that a wise woman builds her home and sets the atmosphere and tone in the home. Portia’s desire is that women are prepared mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically so that they can to just that.

What is She Exhorts all about?
MISSION: Here at She Exhorts, we want to exhort women who are wives, mothers, and trying to hold down a career, to show up for themselves as the woman that God has created you to be. We want you to walk in your full potential that God has for you and have fun along the way.
As women, sometimes we forget about ourselves and place ourselves on the “back burner” for everyone else. We take care of everyone around us, and sometimes we are left with almost nothing for ourselves. Here at She Exhorts, we want to exhort you to begin again! Life will have many roadblocks, detours, and potholes along the way. However, how we respond and show up is imperative. We want you to feel comfortable knowing that life is so much better when you are exhorted and inspired by real life women and surrounded by positivity. She Exhorts is not only a place to stop and get an eye full of pretty things, but it is also a place on the web to read about other women and their stories, along with the pretty and not so pretty on this journey of life.
